Another thing to do in Singapore : Things to do Singapore! : Tired of life? Go look for some ghost Document ID : 203309 Latitdue : 1.312728 Longitude : 103.779358 Address : 136-138 Holland Grove View, Singapore Details : Sometimes I feel really bored, in fact I feel so bored I go looking for trouble or the dead. This night I looked for the latter. After hiking for 3 kilmeters to Holland Village I got hungry and decided for some supper. Once I finished my dinner, I idled around alittle more before I started walking home. The fact that I was absolutely bored of life meant I found it irresistable to venture into this eriee looking path when I chanced upon it while walking along the Commonwealth Avenue. Before I knew it, I was already venturing along this path. Just to get more thrill from this relatively simple hike, I recalled all the horror movies and horror stories I ever read. It was not long before I achieved this tingling sensation on my scalp, shoulders and fore arms. I guess people would call this goose bumps and be freaked by the fact it occured while walking along this eriee stretch. I felt so alive then. As I further ventured along this lonely stretch my thoughts got steadily more morbid. At one point, I was event toying with the thought of getting someone's aid to get me strangled to death and then revived back to life just when this body of mine gets slightly past the clinically dead stage. I am curious if I might come back the same person or would the person revived from this clinical death experience be a different person altogether. The changeling effectMy thoughts ventured back to the scene of the dead man's remnants by the Nicoll Highway that occured back in 2009. It was almost his anniversary again. I should maybe go pay the bridge a visit soon. Further down this path, I mentally took a step back from this set of morbid thoughts I was entertaining and speculated how much of these thoughts are inherently derived from my pysche and how much of these thoughts are from external influence. If most of them were derived from the pysche then I must indeed be an extremely twisted person and should be admitted immediately to some mental asylum so as not to cause any harm to the public. However if most of these thoughts are from external influence, where is the source of such morbid thoughts then? Perhaps this is the way the supernatural attempts to influence the world of the living, through thoughts. Finally the eriest stretch of the road came before me, I recalled the previous occasion when I encountered a running woman who mysteriously disappeared. The tingling sensation intensified. I grew excited. I wonder if it might at all be possible to will this mind of mine to accept something I have totally no understanding of. I wonder which would come first, the acceptance of a possible new found reality or the lost of sanity, if I do come face to face with this supposed spook... Nevertheless, the fact that I am now sitting in front of my computer writing this entry meant physically I am still alive after such a walk in this eriee stretch. It is indeed a truly cheap and effective thrill but definitely not for the weak hearted. :P Tags : Comments : Comments on Things to do Singapore! : Tired of life?
