There were a few instances when it pawed the diners to ask for food, once it even climbing onto my brother's lap. When one family of dinners left, it tried to get on to the table to go for the left overs. It was shooed away but came back anyway, until the operator gave it a beating and almost threw it away in a gunny bag. Even then it did not retaliate unlike stray cats.
