Gloria Jean's Coffees Plaza Singapura, is organizing a Grand Opening event to raise money in support of Grace Haven. Happening on the 29th October from 12 - 7pm, we have invited celebrity baristas Steven Chia, Linda Black - HBO TV host, Nic Nicolas of local designer label - Saturday, Jo Soh of designer label Hansel, Adrian Pang (Fly Entertainment Artist and Cale Chew who will be making Latte art at $10 each from 1 -3pm. Changing Lives A Sip at a Time is Gloria Jean's Coffee's motto and the ultimate goal for Grace Haven is to help the young person to get back on the right track and return home to his/her family. Grace Haven is a charitable and volunteer organization that raises money and awareness to support projects for needy children in local community. The residential home cares for up to 160 young persons. Dedicated staff seek to encourage each young person to reach their potential and discover their strengths and talents. It will be a day of great coffee, tasty treats, cool live jazz by Singapore Jazz singer Dawn Ho, poetry reading and a fabulous silent auction, all in support of a local charity, Grace Haven. Available for silent auction is a limited edition tee by HANSEL, an autographed Frisbee by Channel News Asia TV Host Steven Chia, a limited edition Iphone case by local artist Cale Chew, an autographed copy of Gone Case by local writer Dave Chua.
